Hello everyone!
Surprise! I haven't dropped off the face of the earth. I've just been busy. Between working full-time, freelancing, trying to finish Asta's sequel, preparing for various speaking engagements and bookish events, and celebrating a birthday (that's right, I'm officially old!), there's been a lot to keep track of. Plus, of course, running a house and keeping three tiny humans alive.
This upcoming weekend is going to be the biggest event by far! I will be signing and selling books from the Andromeda Chronicles at the Phoenix Fan Fusion, as well as giving away bookmarks and business cards. My goal is to shake some hands, spread the word about my books, make some connections in the writing and publishing industry, and hopefully do so without embarrassing myself too much. As you can probably imagine, a lot has gone into preparing for this event. There have been books to order, business cards to design and print, bookmarks and a banner to print, as well as signs and other decorations. I've also had to coordinate with my mother and mother-in-law to see about childcare for the weekend since this is a three day event! I anticipate being exhausted and peopled out by the end. But hopefully I'll also come back with fond memories!
